Equipment: SUPPLIES - You can have anything in the regular item list. (You'll have to talk to me in person to acquire any of the alchemical or special items.) You can have multiple copies of things. You don't have to figure out prices -- it's all coming out of the general fund. Here's The Rub.... I'm going to be paying attention to weight, especially at the beginning. You DO NOT want to carry more than you have to... trust me, you're going to begrudge every extra ounce in combat, because I'm going to strictly apply the weight rules in the book. You need to tell me where each item normally is stowed. Example locations: On your person. In your pack. In your ship's chest (large and heavy). Sealed in a keg in the cargo hold. You have about a ton of cargo space personally allocated. No provision has been made for horses or pack animals. If you want to bring them with you, you'll have to commission another boat to transport them, and it will be very expensive. STARTING FUNDS - Determine starting money normally. Since you don't have to buy supplies, this constitutes "pocket money". MASTERWORK - As a parting gift, family elders have given you an heirloom left over from the family spoils form the Great War. You may select EITHER any single weapon or any piece of armor. This item is a handcrafted MASTERWORK, and benefits from its quality construction as indicated in the book. Whichever item you choose, you may specify whether it is lavishly or plainly adorned. All of these gifts have the clearly visible family badge... a fox's head. | ||
