Solstice,(15th of Heat), 802

The day dawned cloudy and overcast. After our usual meeting at Rosewater Park, we donned our Guild cloaks and looked around town. We weren't surprised to see more people than usual milling around, but we saw no sign of Alisande or Firel. I didn't expect to see Gelmir or Tomas, but I don't know that I would have recognized them anyway. Any paintings I may have seen of them were made years ago.

Just before eleven, Roderick came and escorted us to the large hall we had been in before. It was packed with Guild members, all of whom seemed to be arguing. Soon, Liam stood and spoke about us, what we had done, and what had happened to us so far. He avered that we had proven our skill, and then witnesses agreed that we had taken our oaths. We were called forward and asked to kneel and repeat the oath. Liam then said,

"We witness your oaths. You are now full members of the Bliss Guild."

We were given the Bliss Guild insignia to put on our cloaks, and anticlimactically, we broke for lunch, where Roderick congratulated us and bought us a beer. BlackHawk was curious to know if any of the Companions had been seen, but we were all disappointed to hear that the Gryphon's tower is still chained shut, and no sign of the Companions anywhere.

Raven asked if we would like to participate in a ritual to celebrate solstice and we all agreed. Lia had met us at the ElfSong and joined us for the ceremony. I stopped on the way to leave a message for Sister Fara that we would like to meet with her to discuss what had transpired recently. We then headed out to find a quiet place for Raven's ritual. The hill she chose was already occupied by two lions, two white tigers and two leopards. It seemed that we were expected.
