--- The Recognition of the Taoiseach

It is the evening preceding our departure to the Gray Lands.

After finishing a fine dinner prepared by the manor staff Scholar Maech'en asks for the company of Stephen.

As they leave the room I hear the scholar talking; "If you would be so kind as to walk with me I have a request of you. Since I will not be accompanying you to the other side could you possibly take some notes? There are a number of things I am interested in."

As soon as the doors close Jerome stands and requests for the rest of us to follow him. The rest of the Bishops and Clerics stand and we all follow Jerome to the Great Hall. At the far end a high dais and four ecclesiastical thrones have been set up. The Foxes are directed to some chairs that have been set up at the front of the room facing the dais. We are asked to sit along with the Clerics as the Bishops leave the room.

The Paladins are dress very formally and are standing guard on ether side of the dais. Ean then enters the room and is dressed in a very elaborate uniform. He is wearing his plate armor but is without his helmet. He has a sircoat over his armorment with the arms of the western kingdom. It has crossed coronets on the front and back designating him as a herald of the Western Kingdom.

In a loud forceful voice Ena announces "His Excellency Bishop Jerome of Lindol, former Abbot of the order of the Urialites; former Bishop of Revell; Master of Lindol House; Priest of Urial; Hereditary Protector of the Earth Shrine. Jerome enters the room wearing very elaborate black robes of a Urialite Bishop. He is caring the traditional Urialite staff and miter. He proceeds to one of the thrones and calls to Ean "Summon the three orders."

Ean calls out. "Her Excellency Bishop Deirdre Delot; Guardian of the Water Shrine; Bishop of Gabrial; Countess of Lamauge; and heir to the Duchy of star fallen Revell." Deirdre enters wearing ecclesiastical garb. Her dress is colored in a myriad of blues and covered in detailed embroidery. She carries a much smaller staff and is wearing a small miter that is almost unseen within her hair.

As soon as she takes her seat Ean announces. "Her Excellency Bishop Fara of Bliss; Gauardian of the Wind Shrine; Bishop of Rafael; Founding Dean of the Ravallian College of History; and Mistress of Arrame Manor." She is wearing Rafealite Robes and proceeds to take her seat.

Again Eans booming voice calls out. "His Excellency Bishop Fortius of Revell; Grand Abbot of the Order of the St Michaels of the Isle."

With the four orders now in their places Jerome address us and says he hope you understand that we need to take care of this overlooked piece of business and it is something that has to take place with the official decorum it is due. With that the doors again open and standing in the entry is Stephen. The four Bishops stand and Ean announces, "Lord Stephen Fox; descendent of Vallen; Druid of the Isles; Summoner of the Armies of the West; Taoiseach of the Celtic Peoples." Everyone in the room stands and then a solitary applause comes from Jaden. So the room is filled with cheers and approbation. Stephen is escorted to the dais and he is addressed by Fara.

"It is time to redress the dishonesty that we have perpetuated and recognize that you are the Taoiseach and that you herald the coming return of the ArdRí. The four bishops here being properly vested in the church have by their divine will have decreed that the Celestial Church herby recognizes you as the summoner of the Kings of the West and heir to the position to which you have been given.
